Opten: record in liquidations
According to the director of Opten, in May the number of liquidations reached 4297, in the first five months more than 16 thousands of companies were liquidated. A significant part of these liquidation proceedings turned into winding up proceedings, because it turned out that huge debts have accumulated at these companies.
The release highlights that in May, less new companies were founded, than were liquidated. Only 1,926 new companies were registered, compared to the 4200 monthly average of the past twelve months.(MTI)
