Opten: the number of company liquidations over twenty thousand

The number of company liquidations crossed the twenty thousand border this year on the 23rd of December – Opten company information service told to MTI on Tuesday.

According to the communication; until Christmas 2011, liquidation proceedings were initated against 20,078 firms, which is nearly 16 percent more , compared to the liquidation proceedings of a year earlier.

The bulletin cites Csorbai Hajnalka, the company's strategic director, who told, the situation is well characterized by the fact that in 2008, 11,000 liquidation proceedings were registered throughout the year – reports MTI.
