Opten: since the outbreak of the crisis, half of the companies have disappeared from the market
More than 176 thousand business organizations did not survive the past five years: In Hungary 35 percent of therm have disappeared since 2008, and the proportion of companies that are “dormant” is estimated to another 15 percent – show the datas of Opten released on Thursday.
Half of the companies existed before the crisis, are now out of the economic circulation, and the remaining fifty percent has to face serious problems – Tóth Tamás Managing Director of Opten told. Construction industry, transportation, food processing are especially in a difficult situation, while the less capital intensive intellectual activity-based sectors can be said to be even successful. However, there are large differences within the sector: small portion of the companies are successfully taken the obstacles, while others are struggling – Opten draws attention. (MTI)
