Germans are optimistic, confidence in the euro area
The GfK market research institute’s the value of the German consumer sentiment index in September increased to its 15-month peak. Conference Board's composite index for the euro area economy increased as well.
The value of consumer sentiment index has improved to 3.7 points from the 3.4 points of August. The optimistic atmosphere contributed to consumer prices in July decreased by 0.5 percent on an annual level and the measures of the government, try to get more staff at active working, even at a reduced work time – reports ProfitLine.hu.
The U.S. Conference Board’s composite index for the euro zone's economy increased by 1.6 percent in July to 97.4 points – reports Népszabadság.
