Irrigation water demand survey was launched by the National Chamber of Agriculture
The National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) has launched an irrigation water demand survey as part of the development of the irrigation development strategy. After 2014, the public body will again assess the water needs in areas suitable for irrigation development – the NAK told MTI.
In the period from 1 December 2017 to 31 December 2018, the Chamber covers more than 1.2 million hectares of land with about 43,000 members involved in the irrigation system, with the help of village economists. (MTI)
