Online cash registers: the NAV imposed two billion HUF fines
Due to abuses in terms of online cash registers, the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) imposed two billion HUF fines – the Világgazdaság Online wrote after Magyar Idők.
Kis Péter András, the tax authority’s spokesman informed the newspaper that the NAV constantly checks to see whether the persons concerned acquired and used their online cash registers properly. There are about 180 thousand new types of cash register in operation. The introduction of these may bring hundreds of billions HUF tax revenue surplus. (Magyar Idők, Vg.hu)
