Lidl partners with Olympic athlete to expand its protein range in Ireland
Lidl Ireland has teamed up with Olympian and two-time European champion David Gillick to expand its high-protein range.

In 2025 14 performance-enhancing supplements appeared on the shelves of the chain’s 181 stores nationwide. Lidl has been offering protein products since 2021 and is now adding whey-based and vegan protein powders, creatine, collagen powder, isotonic drink powders and protein bars to its product selection.
