American saving money by buying cheaper brands and consider home-grown vegetables
More than half of the Americans asked – 57 percent – are trying to save money by buying cheaper brands, 23 percent gave up smoking while 25 percent switched to a cheaper cabel tv-package – a new survey by Pew Research Center states.
The main focus of the survey has been to find how Americans are trying to save money in this crisis-ridden era. More than a thousand people have been asked. Interestingly, the ones who gave up smoking are likely to cut off their drinking habits too. A fifth of those being asked are trying to cut down their expenses by using heir phone less often, and approximately the same percentage of people are considering the possibility of growing their own vegetables and fruits in their garden.
