Cost of Living became cheaper in the euro area
Consumer prices fell at record level in the euro zone in July, mainly due to the fact, that less need to be paid for energy and food.
According to Eurostat datas; prices fell by 0.7 percent in July compared to the datas of the previous month and compared to the prices of the year earlier, while the agency previously projected a 0.6 percent fall. In July, energy price was 1.8 percent lower than in June and 14.4 percent cheaper compared to last year’s price. Consumer prices fell by 0.1 per cent in June – reports MTI Eco.
