Campaign and tasting to promote Riesling
The visitors of the Great Riesling Tasting can taste the Riesling wines of almost seventy wineries from the Carpathian Basin on Saturday at the Sofitel Budapest Hotel, while in October several restaurants, wine shops, wine bars will promote one of Hungary’s most common grape variety.
The objective of the Riesling October remains unchanged since the 2013 launch of the series of events: to draw the domestic audience’s attention to the fact that the it as an important and diverse grape variety – Harsányi Dávid the chief organizer of the tasting told MTI.
