Fuel prices rise again in Italy, fewer tourists expected for Easter
Despite the tax cuts by the Roman government, fuel prices have risen again due to the conflict with Iran, which is also affecting tourism, with the number of tourists from Asia falling by more than ten percent, according to the tourism association.

The energy crisis caused by the Iranian conflict will also affect the approaching Easter: according to data from the Federturismo tourism association, 10.6 million Italians are planning to travel during the spring break, but eighty-four percent of them will stay in the country, nine percent will choose a European destination, and seven percent will travel further afield.
The city of Rome is counting one million fewer guest nights in the compared to last year’s Easter. The number of visitors from Asia has decreased by more than thirteen percent.
