Italy will become Hungary’s third-largest business partner this year – after Germany and Austria – as trade flows between the two countries can reach 10 billion euros in 2017, Italy’s Ambassador said on Tuesday in Debrecen on the first Italian business day.
According to Massimo Rustico, there are about 2500 Italian companies in Hungary, but in the next few years they intend to intensify relations in addition to the economy in the field of education and culture as well.
He also told that Hungarian exports last year amounted to 4.5 billion euros, while Italy exported goods for 4 billion euros to Hungary. (MTI)
