Italy is considering the introduction of chips-tax
The Italian government, like other countries, wants to tax the foods containing too much sugar, salt and fat.
According to the survey of the Sant'Anna College of Pisa; 10 percent of Italians, five million people are overweight. Their diseases (mainly heart and circulatory disorders, diabetes), the treatments, nutritionists and psychologists fundcost 8.3 billion euros, this is 6.7 percent of the spendings on health – reports Világgazdaság Online.
