Italian star chef will cook for Nike athletes at the Olympics
Only products shipped from Italy to London will be served in one of the restaurant for the Olympic athletes. The restaurant’s cuisine will be led by Italian star chef Nicola Batavia.
The celebrity chef and his team will cook for more than two weeks in the reastaurant called Nike VIP House, which will be the culinary headquarters of the athletes supported by Nike.
So far, 900 kilograms of hand-kneaded dough, 300 liters of olive oil, 30 pieces of gorgonzola cheese, 100 kilograms of grissinis (breadsticks) arrived to the restaurant. The 46-year old star chef will prepare more than ten thousand plates of food until August 12. (Sárközy Júlia, MTI)
