Chinese are buying up Italian agricultural firms

Recently it appeared on the news that the Italian authorities quickly (in just five months) gave their permission for the Modena-based Goldoni and China's Foton Lovol Group’s merger.
Currently, the Foton Lovol Group’s can not be considered as a particularly large player on the world market (the company produces 100 thousand tractors and 50 thousand harvesters annually), but definitely wants to become a global player in the agricultural sector. (agrarszektor.hu)
