The guest traffic of accommodations has increased

In October, the number of nights spent by foreign tourists increased by 19.8 percent and nights spent by domestic guests decreased by 6.1 percent, compared to a year before. Overall the turnover of hotels increased by 6.7 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Tuesday.

The commercial accommodations reported that the gross sales increased by 14.7 percent at current prices.
The large fluctuations in foreign tourism turnover can be explained with the basic data in October, because in October 2015, there was a drop in foreign guests, due to the migrant crisis, in parallel, the domestic demand expanded – the Central Statistical Office wrote. (MTI)
