KSH measured a six percent inflation rate in October
The food price inflation may be a long-term risk. Inflation may moderate in the next half-year, next year it may remain relatively high – analysts believe.
According to the datas of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) published on Tuesday, annual inflation rate in October slowed to 6.0 percent, after the 6.6 percent of September. Compared to the previous month, consumer prices rose by 0.1 percent in October.
According to Török Zoltán, analyst at Raiffeisen Bank, the 6.6 percent inflation rate in September was a high value, after which the price index in October fell back to 6.0 percent, to the same level that was measured in August. He expects that inlation can remain on this level for the rest of the year. (MTI)
