Agricultural producer prices increased by more than 5 percent in October
In October, agricultural producer prices increased by 5.1 percent, compared to a year before, following a 6.2 percent rise in the previous month.
The price of plant products increased by 9.7 percent, and the price of live animals and animal products decreased by 2.2 percent. Prices of cereals increased by 13.4 percent, including wheat prices by 20.5 and maize prices by 5.4 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Friday. (MTI)
