Real wages rose over ten percent in Romania
In October, real income in Romania was 10.6 percent higher than in the previous year, according to the Romanian National Statistical Institute.
The gross average wage was 3327 lei (226 200 forints) in October, which was 0.7 percent higher than in the previous month. The net average wage reached 2392 lei (162,600 forints), which is a 13.5 percent increase, compared to last October. Inflation was taken into account when calculating the 10.6 percent real wage growth. (MTI)
