The 26th Csaba Sausage Festival starts on October 19

The biggest attractions of the festival are the various kneading competitions every year, for which more than a thousand teams are expected.

Ilona Hégelyné Győrfi, program director of the event, said that on Thursday’s opening day – when admission is free all day – kindergarteners and elementary schoolers fill sausages. Entry to the competition was made free for 100 teams, these places have already been reserved.

On the day – when the agricultural and industrial exhibition and fair opens in the hall – the prizes of the international dry sausage competition will be presented as part of the ceremonial opening. Last year, more than a hundred entries were made, and the organizers expect a similar number of sausages to arrive this year as well.
