OKSZ: small grocery stores in the shadow of bankruptcy
Several thousands of grocery stores can bankrupt in small communities after the opening of the tobacco shops. On the declining food market, the smallest loss of sales could be fatal for small shops – the National Retail Federation (OKSZ) called attention in its statement released in Tuesday.
In addition to cigarettes, tobacco shops can sell a full range of consumer goods, which is another source of loss for the rest of the stores. This is the serious mistake of the tobacco shop system – the National Retail Federation (OKSZ) told. According to the organization, the small shops in villages and generally the small food stores will be in the most difficult position. (MTI)
