OKSZ: year-end sales in stores broke all records
All records so far have been broken by year-end store sales, with total retail sales exceeding 1,200 billion HUF, of which more than 100 billion HUF has been spent on gifts only – the secretary general of the National Trade Federation (OKSZ) told M1 news channel.
Vámos György added that the growth of the economy and earnings makes it possible for retail sales to set records year after year.
He said that many businesses had their plans outperformed in the last months of the year, mostly in web stores in November and in traditional stores in December. (MTI)
