OKSZ: retail sales this year may grow by around 5 percent
The August expansion of retail sales was outstanding, the data shows that this year will be the third year in the sector, when growth reached or exceeded 5 percent – Vámos György, General Secretary of the National Retail Federation (OKSZ) told MTI on Tuesday. According to the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) during the year, the high rate of growth may remain persistent.
The Central Statistical Office (KSH) published on Tuesday: August retail sales volume according to the raw data increased by 5.8, while calendar effect adjusted increased by 4.3 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year. In August, the traffic showed a recovery in comparison with the July pace of 2.9 percent. (MTI)
