OKSZ: retail consumption decreased in 2010 or not?
There's a contradiction between Matolcsy György's words over the halt occurred in the fall of domestic consumption two years ago – states the article of NOL.hu.
According to the article; “the datas of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) show that retail sales decreased the most in November 2009, when the calendar adjusted volume index fell to 92.3 percent, decreasing by 7.7 percent, compared to November 2008. Then it climbed up again until last July, when the KSH measured positive again.”
According to the press release of OKSZ: The figures of KSH are different, compared to NOL.hu's. Annual volume of retail sales between 2007-2010, compared to the previos year:
2007: 97.9 percent
2008: 98.4 percent
2009: 94.7 percent
2010: 97.9 percent
