OKSZ: the Pentecostal trade turnover exceeded the Easter turnover

In the days before Pentecost, retail traffic picked up compared to the past and compared to Easter, but it can only regain its former momentum in the fourth quarter – Vámos György, Secretary General of the National Trade Association (OKSZ) told Kossuth Radio.

He explained that shopping habits were constantly changing during the pandemic period, but a more balanced period followed after Easter. Turnover in the food trade is already around normal, but for example, purchases of manufactured goods are expected to grow only cautiously in the coming months, as shoppers are still considered and fear the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, he added.
