OKSZ: the government does not expect significant improvement in the economy
According to Vámos György, the Secretary General of the National Trade Association; the fact that the government counts on additional taxation even in 2014 indicates, that the cabinet re-evaluated the prospects for the Hungarian market and no longer believes, that the economy could improve significantly in the near future.
He added, the participants of the industry had hoped that the extra taxes – paid with a rapid pace – will be some kind of investments and the future turnover expansion, thanks to the government measures, will compensate the losses of the companies. Moreover, they also hoped, that in the case of a fast improvement, extra taxes will not be needed in 2013 in the sector. These hopes, however, now seem to be fade away – reports Népszabadság Online.
