OKSZ: Traders are willing to support the Hungarian dairy farmers
The National Trade Association (OKSZ) has no informations that the chains would undertake commitment for the removal of the imported UHT milk and cheese from the stores' shelves.
The chains support the Hungarian milk production and processing industry with tools that are available, however the decline in the purchasing power of the population makes it necessary to distribute lower-priced dairy products, and the customers also cannot be deprived from the opportunity of choice.
The Ministry and the representatives of the chains actually started discussions. The chains, of course are ready for further consultations, in order to find solutions that would be beneficial to all parties. (oksz.hu)
