OKSZ: digital price tags do not need to be swapped constantly
Digital price tags make the shopping process smoother, because the customers can face with actual prices – the Secretary-General of the National Retail Federation (OKSZ) told M1 news channel on Friday.
Vámos György explained that currently it is problematic to change the price tags, the traders cannot adjust the prices in the cash machine at the same time exactly. The digital price tags, however, in addition to the replacement of the labels is less expensive, will allow real-time tracking of price changes, so in case of price changes the new retail price will be displayed at the same time in the cash machine and on the shelf.
