Pyaterochka Rolls Out ‘Smart Store’ Technology To Cut Energy Consumption
Russia’s X5 Retail Group has announced that it has rolled out Smart Store technology in four Pyaterochka stores in Moscow.
Through this initiative, the retail group aims to reduce the energy consumption of these outlets by around 4.9%.
Smart Store integrates special sensors, control devices, and software into existing processes, to reduce energy consumption, automate equipment control, and minimise the risk of accidents.
