OFE: consumer are becoming more conscious when lending
In recent years, consumers have become more conscious when they access to credit – shows the August survey of the National Association for Consumer Protection (OFE) and Cofidis.
Morvay György, president of the Association told at the press briefing on Tuesday, that 61 percent of the respondents said that they have read the terms and conditions before signing. Nevertheless, more than 50 percent of them have met with costs, that were not expected. This shows that consumers often do not understand the terms of the contract – said Morvay György added. (MTI)
