OECD: this year’s global economic growth is slowing
This year’s global economic growth forecast has been worsened in the forecasts of the Paris-based Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on Tuesday.
The OECD forecasts a global economic growth of 3.2 percent for this year and 3.4 percent for 2020, after last year’s 3.5 percent. The unemployment is the lowest for decades.
In its previous November forecast, the OECD expected higher global economic growth; 3.5 percent for this year, in its May 2018 forecast an even higher increase of 3.9 percent. (MTI)
