OECD: the life quality of people generally improved
In most part of the world the quality of life of people has generally improved since the early 20th century, the countries tend to be more closer to each other in quality of life, as well as in terms of the per capita GDP. Only exceptions are countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
Experts and economic historians of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) explored now for the first time how the life quality of the world’s residents has changed from 1820. The How was the life? Global Well-Being since 1820 269-paged study was presented on Thursday. (MTI)
