According to a research, Hungarians pay attention to finances

Erste: Hungarians handle their money carefully
According to a statement sent to MTI on Tuesday, most people (40 percent) write a list before shopping, which they stick to, or buy the usual things (30 percent) so they know about how much they will spend. It is more typical for women, younger people and people in Budapest to buy with a pre-compiled list, which they stick to. Men are more likely to look for discounted, more affordable products, the older age group typically buy the usual things, and those living in the countryside are happy to find out from discount newspapers.
