Oh, Mr. Alcohol!
In the past, alcohol didn’t have much to do with ice cream, but this has changed in recent years, with numerous forms of alcohol appearing in ice cream as a result of innovation. Ice cream made from beer was invented by a pub owner in Yorkshire in 2005. Today, hopsicle is a popular sweet consumed by adults in several states of the USA. Whiskey ice cream with milk cream also exists. Guinness ice cream is made with chocolate, like a wine ice cream by a company called Bobtail. Sorbets by Wine Cellar, developed under the supervision of winemakers are even more sophisticated. Frozen versions of cocktails are even more frequently encountered, because these are far simpler to make than real ice cream.
