Investigation due to the bankruptcy of Shlecker
The Stuttgart state prosecutor's office started an investigation against Anton Schlecker and thirteen other defendants, due to the bankruptcy of the Shlecker German drugstore chain.
Proceeding has started against the former leader of the drugstore chain for among other things, misappropriation and suspicion of the delaying of the insolvency proceedings – said a spokesman in Stuttgart. Investigators have examined eighteen apartments and four retail units until now in Germany in connection with the case. (FTD – Világgazdaság Online)
