Depressed purchase prices at the wine-growing regions
The growers are complaining about low purchase prices this year. Grape growers interviewed by MTI told that prices have not increased since last year, despite the high quality of the grapes this year.
Harvest is still underway in the Sopron wine region. The cabernet sauvignon and cabernet blanc are still on the vines, while in the historic Tokaj-hegyalja wine region, more than half of the early maturing varieties have been harvested. (MTI)
