There will be eleven billion people on earth by 2100
The UN estimates that the world’s population will grow from the current 7.4 billion to 11.2 billion in the next 80 years – portfolio.hu wrote, on the basis of the Korfa (Age Tree) publication of the Population Science Institute of KSH.
The growth in population will be concentrated to the black African countries that have a high fertility rate. Europe’s fertility is expected to grow somewhat in the future, but the overall fertility rate will remain below the level of reproduction in most countries. According to the data from 2017, Niger had the highest fertility rate – not just in Africa but around the world, with nearly seven children on average.
