The industrial park in Encs is being developed with eight hundred million forints
Basic infrastructure investments are being carried out with a non-refundable grant of eight hundred million forints, in addition to expanding logistics services, building a new building, and transforming the existing one in the Encs industrial park – the communications office of the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county town told MTI.
They wrote that it is essential for the development of the settlement, attracting investors and creating new jobs that the city can offer suitable industrial areas to investors.
They added that the fundamental objective of the project is to develop an industrial park with basic infrastructure in line with investor needs, good transport connections and orderly ownership relations, which is essential for the settlement of new companies and the expansion of local ones.
They announced that the project consists of four parts. On the one hand, two new industrial roads, a total of 1,184 meters, will be built at a cost of 458.6 million forints, a new drinking and fire water network will be built over more than two kilometers, and a new sewage system will be built over nearly three kilometers. This will be connected to the electricity supply and public lighting of the new and existing roads. About 25 million forints will be spent on road renovation, and nearly 30 million forints will be spent on renovating an old, unused brownfield site. About 120 million forints will be spent on a parking lot for trucks and cars and the associated social building.
The development is being implemented with EU and domestic funds, and the Encs local government will implement it in a consortium with the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Local Government, expected by the end of March next year.
