Romanian retail sales grew by eight percent
In the first four months, the volume of Romanian retail sales increased by 8.1 percent compared to the same period of last year – the Romanian National Statistical Institute announced on Wednesday.
According to the seasonally and calendar adjusted value, the expansion was 8 percent.
According to the raw data, the first four-month increase was mainly due to non-food products, whose sales increased by 10.4 percent, while fuel sales increased by 10.1 percent and the sales of food, beverages, and tobacco increased by 4.7 percent. (MTI)
