Romanian retail sales grew above eight percent in the first quarter
In Romania, the volume of retail sales increased by 8.4 percent in the first quarter of this year, compared to the same period last year – the Romanian National Statistical Institute announced on Monday.
The increase in raw data is mainly due to the 12.7 percent increase in fuel sales. The sales of non-food products increased by 11.6 percent, while food, beverage and tobacco sales increased by 2.9 percent. (MTI)
