Nyírbátor became one of the European production centre of Unilever
On 4th September a 9.7 million euros investment officially completed in Nyírbátor, which increased the capacity of the local Unilever factory by 60 percent.
The one year-long development and conversions were necessary, because the company has moved the production of several Western European factories to Nyírbátor. With the setting up the new production lines, capacity has increased by more than one and half times. Also a new truck and car parking and a new port had been built. The developments also affected the bottling unit; in the new blow molding plant the production is already taking place in three shifts.
