The blending ratio of the wine should be indicated on the bottle
According to a forthcoming regulation amendment, it will be mandatory to indicate the blending ratio of the wine on the wine bottle – Gál Péter, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture at the parliamentary agriculture committee’s of grape, wine, pálinka subcommittee meeting on Thursday in Budapest.
Mészáros Kálmán, director of the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih)) told the subcommittee meeting that the almost 50 thousand hectoliters locked Italian wine may only be marketed if the Italian authorities could document the origin of the wines. (MTI)
