The first Primark store opens in Hungary
Facing the challenge of a competitive labor market in Hungary, Primark aims to attract and retain workers by offering flexible working hours and competitive salaries, alongside development programs. Primark is also committed to sustainability, with a goal to produce all its products from sustainable sources by 2030 and ensuring ethical conditions across its supply chain.
Despite focusing traditionally on in-store experiences, Primark is adapting to digital trends. They have launched a new website allowing customers to check product availability before visiting stores, though full-scale online sales are not planned yet. Expansion of their Click + Collect service across all UK stores is in the pipeline, aiming to enhance customer convenience without fully transitioning to online sales.
Primark’s entry into the Hungarian market is an exciting development that promises to redefine the shopping experience by offering affordable, quality fashion in a sustainable and attractive retail environment.
