Wine producers have to issue a report until 10 March
From January a new law introduced the small wine-producer category, which allows easier administration. The wineries producing less than 1,000 hectoliters can choose this category. These producers can only process Hungarian grapes, and cannot purchase wine.
The wine producers will need to register by 10 March, if they want to operate as small wine-producers from 1 April. The amendment can be a relief to more than 90 percent of the wine producers – the National Council of Wine Communities (HNT) drew attention. (MTI)
