Summer consumer protection control: there were many irregularities
The consumer protection inspectors of Budapest and Pest county found a high proportion of irregularities during the summer action controls in the units of the chain of stores: objections were experienced at 69 percent of the units – Pesti Imre, Government Agent of Budapest said on Wednesday at a press conference in Budapest.
The inspectorates have started procceedings against 91 units out of the tested 131 units. Tarnai Richárd Government Agent of Pest County at the same time reported a drastic decline in serving people under 18 with alcohol and tobacco products since the spring. In the April study, 78 out of 100 units served people under 18 years with alcohol and tobacco products, in summer this ratio decreased to 31 percent.) (MTI)
