BioFach in Nuremberg: food, wine and body care
Visitors from Hungary are among the 10 largest groups among visitors from 112 countries to the exhibition. The number of Hungarian exhibitors has been around 30 for the past six years. 45,000 registered visitors, are expected to attend this year’s event to be held between 21-24. February. Market trends have been favourable for bio-products in Europe, with a 18 per cent rise in sales last year, bringing the total value of sales to EUR 17 billion. Over 31 million hectares of land are used for bio production world-wide, including 123,000 in Hungary. Bio wines will be in the focus this year, with over 300 exhibitors. Vivaness is the event held simultaneously with Bio Fach for the second time, where wellness and bio-cosmetics products are presented.
