Number of companies dropped to the 2009 level in Hungary
In the first quarter of 2017 10,358 companies were deleted and only 6,600 new ones were started. Due to this, the number of businesses went below 540,000 in Hungary.
Richárd Pertics, business unit manager of Opten Kft. told that this decrease in the number of companies also means there are fewer ‘infected’ enterprises in the market. The number of companies per capita is still very high in Hungary, and there is dynamic growth in the number of sole traders.
