The average purchase price of corn and wheat decreased in November

In November, the Magro Grain Index (MGX) fell by 14 percent compared to the previous month. The inex that is showing the joint price movement of the Hungarian grains was standing on 8184.4 points at the end of the autumn at the Magro.hu the agricultural marketplace.

The drastic move was driven by the corn’s 17 percent drop in prices, because the average 46,513 HUF / tonne price of October, decreased to an average price of 38,425 HUF per tonne. The end results are still not known, but is likely to be the best yield of the last 10 years. In addition the possibility of the strong oversupply pushed down the prices.
