The 2025 challenge of the Feed Your Brain education program will launch in November
Feed Your Mind, the joint health education initiative of Nestlé for Healthier Kids and Okos Doboz, is announcing a new challenge in 2025. In the 4-week program starting on November 10, elementary school children can test their knowledge on balanced nutrition and healthy lifestyle through playful online tasks. The implementation of the Feed Your Mind activities, which have reached more than 25 thousand students so far, has been supported by the Active Hungary Program for two years now.
Feed Your Mind was launched in 2021 with the aim of teaching children the basics of balanced nutrition and healthy lifestyle in a playful way. Since then, more than 25 thousand students have participated in the initiative, solving more than 310 thousand digital tasks on the Okos Doboz interface. The program is built on three pillars: online educational content available throughout the school year, spring and fall challenges, and interactive health days organized in base schools.
The program, which is part of Nestlé’s global initiative for Healthier Kids, brings the topic of active lifestyle and sustainable consumption closer to students in addition to conscious nutrition. 75 unique, 2-3 minute animations and more than 300 digital, playful tasks appropriate to the children’s age group introduce students to what conscious shopping means, the correct proportion of food groups in nutrition, or environmentally conscious decision-making in everyday life. The content is aligned with the educational goals of the National Core Curriculum, and their integration into the teachers’ toolbox is supported by two Methodological Manuals.
“At Nestlé, we believe that the earlier children encounter the topic of balanced nutrition and sustainability, the greater their chance of becoming conscious adults. The Feed Your Mind challenge aims to support this development in an experiential way and also help teachers in conveying a health-conscious approach”
– said Gábor Tompa, Corporate Communications Manager of Nestlé Hungária.
The Feed Your Mind Challenge will also take place on the Okos Doboz digital educational platform in 2025, where students can solve interactive tasks. In addition to knowledge, participants can also compete for valuable material prizes and cash prizes: the most active students, teachers and classes will be awarded in the Challenge.
“We are very pleased that the program has now gained national recognition, and more and more schools are joining every year. Our goal is to make a healthy and sustainable lifestyle natural for as many children as possible. We believe that learning is most effective when it becomes an experience”
– emphasized Dóra Szűcs, Executive Director of Okos Doboz.
