Retail sales in the Czech Republic increased by 6.1 percent in November
In November last year, the growth rate of the retail turnover in the Czech Republic dropped to 6.1 percent year-on-year, from the 6.4 percent in October – the Czech Statistical Office (CSÚ) announced on Friday in Prague.
According to statisticians, the November retail was influenced by various campaigns and promotions of Christmas shopping and commercial chains.
Compared to November 2017, one business day more was in 2018. Taking this into account, the annual growth rate in November was 5 percent. (MTI, Kokes János)
